In July, El Born CCM will co-produce the first part of the Counterculture Project of the Miquel Barcelona dance company.
In the Sala Castellví you will find an artistic installation created from twelve first-hand accounts from performing arts professionals who have suffered physical, psychological and emotional harm connected to bad practices in the creation processes.
Through an intimate, ephemeral and close approach, you can hear the voice of the narrators who tell their stories and associate their injury to a part of the body, of which they have made a temporary sculpture to make it visible.
They have cast the injured bodies to extract the artistic piece: the moulds take centre stage and by playing with light and mirrors they become the sculptures themselves, dignifying what normally remains hidden.
All these bodies you will see form a common body we call “Anatomy of an unknown profession” by the Miquel Barcelona dance company. We would like you to get to know this body so we can explain some of the injuries. To do this, we just ask you listen and reflect with us.
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 6 p.m.: Live installations with witnesses from the installation.
If you are a professional in the sector, do not miss the reflection activity organised by the Miquel Barcelona dance company together with the Catalan Association of Dance Professionals (APdC).
